The coldest building on campus

In the winter, the building was just as cold.

This past weekend I was spending some quality time with my guy & my associate and I made the choice to go on a long hike together. It was a beautiful day to venture outside, because the fall season had entirely settled. The leaves on the trees were starting to change color & the sky was a brilliant & clear red. The Sun was shining, so the air temperature wasn’t too freezing if you were resting in direct light. However, when I walked into the shade & I realized that it was going to be a bit brisk out in the woods. I decided to layer up with some extra clothing, & my associate and I hit the road to embark on our fun day trip. As soon as my guy saw me, he had questions about my outfit. How was I staying so warm wearing a dress & tights? That’s when I told him about all the crucial lessons I had learned working at my past job. I used to be employed in a building with the worst indoor air temperature control on the planet. In fact, it was entirely the most uncomfortable locale I have ever been. The central cooling system seems like it was on all the time. In the dead of Summer, the building was excruciatingly cold as they can batted the warm outdoor hot & cold temperatures. In the winter, the building was just as cold. It felt as if the furnace wasn’t an option. Since I had to report to this building everyday, & rest silently in the absurd cold air, I got pretty nice at dressing warmly. I knew how to layer up my body & provide extra heat internally, even if the external thermostat was unreasonably low. Compared to the indoor air quality at my seasoned job, our hike felt toasty warm.
