Today is just another afternoon. another hot, humid, miserable summer time afternoon. I don’t know about you, but I am sick of it… So it’s just about everyone I know. It’s been a month on end of this pounding, endless Heat, plus everyone is at their wit’s end, then yep, it’s the end of summer time in the South. What starts as a fun season filled with social activities in adventures eventually turns into a miserable sizzling puddle of exhaustion plus apathy, however by the end of November, you don’t want to go outside anymore. You don’t want to see the sunshine anymore. You don’t even want to turn on the air-conditioning system anymore. All that you want is for the weather to finally break. You pray for the afternoon that the sunshine does not shine so brightly plus maybe a few clouds litter the sky. You wait for the day that they are really feels cold on your skin when you step outside to go to work. You pray for the afternoon that you can turn off your air conditioner plus store it away for the short winter time. You wish every afternoon that you could throw on a sweatshirt plus be comfortable, instead of perspiring through light tank tops plus shorts. You start to become nostalgic plus idealize the feeling of naturally cold-air instead of fake, treated indoor air that costs a pretty penny to manufacture. In short, when 4 months of sweltering heat plus air conditioning usage have gone by, the fall grass starts to look a lot yellower.
