Being active is honestly crucial to me. I try to be active at least 4 times out of the week. Whether it is walking outside or going for a light jog on the treadmill I try to do some kind of cardio at least twice a week. At least once a week I like to have a hard exercise afternoon where I am really tired at the end. I used to lift at a gym that was 20 minutes from my house. It was also high-priced to be a member there. My neighbor told me about a private gym that he lifts at. At this gym you don’t have to pay for a membership. All the owner asks is that my friend and I scrub the gym and if there has anything around the household that he needs done, my friend and I help him. While I was lifting the other afternoon, I put my lift shoes on and put my stuff on the floor in the corner. I lifted for about 45 minutes with numerous breaks in between my sets. When I was finished my workout I grabbed my water bottle, my keys and my iphone from the shelf. Then I put on my coat, my sweatpants and realized that my sweatpants were rather warm. I felt the floor where my stuff had been. It turns out that there was radiant flooring in the gym. I did not realize that until I left my stuff on the ground and felt the floor. This is why the gym is nice and hot during the winter time time.
