Living in the town presents numerous unique challenges.
- Everyone knows that the traffic is honestly bad here, and you are doomed to experience discouraging traffic jams and commutes on a weekly basis.
The outdoor air quality is also something to consider. For most of the year it is insanely boiling and humid outside, and we will require advanced air conditioning to be comfortable. Additionally, there will constantly be a giant pollen bloom to irritate the respiratory systems of anyone with airborne dust irritations, however lastly, you should realize that the power goes out on a regular basis around here. This means, you will have to reset your apartment appliances more often than you’d expect. For those of us who utilize central temperature control programming to control our indoor heating and cooling systems, this is more frustrating than you might expect. Every time I set up our central heating and cooling system with the appropriate air quality control settings for an entire week, it seems like our power goes out the next afternoon. When we lose electricity, the temperature control completely shuts down and resets all of the temperature control programming. Then, I get to start all over again punching in the exact hot and cold temperatures and times for our central Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system to operate with optimal energy efficiency. It seems like I can’t go more than two weeks without redesigning our air quality control plan. I wish that there was a way to permanently save the temperature control settings. Even though I love energy efficiency, it’s taxing for me to love the air quality details on the 100th time I have programmed our temperature control.
