Living in the city presents many particular challenges.
Everyone knows that the traffic is absolutely terrible here, and you are doomed to experience frustrating traffic jams and commutes on a daily basis. The outdoor air quality is also something to consider. For most of the year it is ridiculously warm and humid outside, and my buddy and I will require advanced a/c to be comfortable. Additionally, there will constantly be a large pollen bloom to irritate the respiratory systems of anyone with airborne dust irritations; Lastly, you should realize that the power goes out on a regular basis around here. This means, you will have to reset your home appliances more often than you’d expect. For those of us who utilize central control unit programming to control our indoor heating and cooling systems, this is more frustrating than you might expect. Every time I set up our central heating and cooling system with the appropriate air quality control settings for an entire week, it seems like our power goes out the next afternoon. When my buddy and I lose electricity, the control unit completely shuts down and resets all of the temperature control programming. Then, I get to beginning all over again punching in the exact hot and cold temperatures and times for our central Heating and A/C system to operate with optimal energy efficiency. It seems like I can’t go more than two weeks without redesigning our air quality control plan. I wish that there was a way to permanently save the temperature control settings. Even though I cherish energy efficiency, it’s tough for me to cherish the air quality details on the 100th time I have programmed our control unit.
