Sometimes I look at my children & wonder where on Earth they came from. They have unusual interests that I can’t relate to, they have opinions that do not align with anyone else in the family, & sincerely they can be rather dense. I consider myself to be a fairly logical & intelligent human, so it is always shocking when my offSpringtime prove their idiocracy to me. Recently, this was the case when my oldest kid decided he could bring illicit substances into our cabin & conceal it from me. Nice try, however you are not that smart. I noticed that something was wrong one afternoon when I heard of the central heating & cooling system making more noise than usual. It seems like the air conditioning was struggling to efficiently transfer our indoor air through the air duct as usual. Every room seems like it had more high-powered air conditioning blowing through the vents, however the A/C device sounded like it was struggling at the same time. I was walking through our house, trying to figure out what was going on with the central cooling system when I opened my son’s door. Immediately, a wall of sizzling & humid air greeted me inside his living room. I walked over to the air vent & found it completely clogged up with pillows from the outside. When I detached the fluffy obstacles from in front of the air vent, the pungent smell of weed right away filled my nostrils! Clearly, my kid had hidden his smoking supplies inside of the air vents & clogged the opening to the HVAC duct to suppress the smell. I have no idea why he thought this was a fantastic solution, considering how unpleasantly sizzling & humid it was in his living room. At least his stupidity makes it easy to catch him in the act.
