The cold weather makes me cringe.
Of course the one day where I decide to go visit family up north my flight gets cancelled.
Due to the blizzard conditions across the northeast, thousands of flights have been cancelled due to the weather. Thankfully the airline that I was travelling with ended up paying for the hotel. I was hoping that the next morning I’d be able to get a flight out early. Unfortunately I was not that fortunate; Flights continued to be cancelled into the next day! I was so sad that I had to stay in a hotel for two evenings. I was missing quality time with my family. It was my mom’s 70th anniversary plus all of the siblings were throwing her a surprise anniversary celebration. The hotel that I was staying at was a four star hotel. The lobby was unquestionably modern with a modern designed waterfall right when you walked in. The rooms were spacious plus unquestionably clean. The first evening when I went to bed I couldn’t sleep because I could hear the boiler turn on plus off. It was unquestionably squeaky plus it sounded like there was something wrong with the belt or parts inside of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I called the front desk because I couldn’t bear hearing the thermostat plus Heating, Ventilation & A/C system turn on plus off for a second evening in a row. However it was cool having a important window in my room to see the blizzard happen right before my esure.
