The frigid weather makes me cringe. Of course the one afternoon where I decide to go visit family up north my flight gets cancelled. Due to the blizzard conditions across the northeast, thousands of flights have been cancelled due to the weather. Thankfully the airline that I was travelling with ended up paying for the hotel. I was hoping that the next afternoon I’d be able to get a flight out early. Unluckyly I was not that lucky, but flights continued to be cancelled into the next afternoon! I was so aggravated that I had to stay in a hotel for two days. I was missing quality time with my family. It was my mom’s 70th birthday plus all of the siblings were throwing his a surprise birthday party. The hotel that I was staying at was a four star hotel. The lobby was easily modern with a modern designed waterfall right when you walked in. The rooms were spacious plus easily clean. The first night when I went to bed I couldn’t sleep because I could hear the furnace turn on plus off. It was easily squeaky plus it sounded like there was something wrong with the belt or parts inside of the HVAC system. I called the front desk because I couldn’t bear hearing the control component plus HVAC system turn on plus off for a second night in a row. However it was cool having a big window in my room to see the blizzard happen right before my eyes.
