The freezing weather makes me cringe. Of course the one afternoon where I decide to go visit family up north my flight gets cancelled. Due to the blizzard conditions across the northeast, thousands of flights have been cancelled due to the weather. Thankfully the airline that I was travelling with ended up paying for the hotel. I was hoping that the next morning I’d be able to get a flight out early. Unfortunately I was not that lucky, and flights continued to be cancelled into the next afternoon! I was so distraught that I had to stay in a hotel for two days. I was missing quality time with my family. It was my mom’s 68th birthday in addition to all of the siblings were throwing her a surprise birthday celebration. The hotel that I was staying at was a four star hotel. The lobby was certainly modern with a modern designed waterfall right when you walked in. The rooms were spacious in addition to certainly clean. The first night when I went to bed I couldn’t sleep because I could hear the heater turn on in addition to off. It was certainly squeaky in addition to it sounded like there was something wrong with the belt or parts inside of the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system. I called the front desk because I couldn’t bear hearing the temperature control in addition to Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system turn on in addition to off for a second night in a row. However it was cool having a immense window in my room to see the blizzard happen right before my eyes.
