It’s the perfect time to chat about the day, share what’s going on with everyone & love each other; Finding a sturdy & charming table big enough to accommodate seven people was difficult.
I didn’t want an overly big or ornate table that would dominate the family room. I didn’t want something that was so delicate it would get harmd if anyone set a glass on it. I shopped for months. I visited every antique shop, estate sale & garage sale in the nearby area. I toured every furniture store & even looked online. Nothing pleased my criteria. If I was going to spend that kind of currency on a family room table & chairs, it needed to be perfect. I was hoping for a set constructed out of cherry wood that would match my family room cupboards, however cherry wood furniture is scarce & high-priced. Cheap imitations are a really uncharming color & lack realistic wood grain; When I got in touch with a custom furniture builder, everything fell into site. I described my priorities & preferences, & he worked up a design, he catered the dimensions to suit the layout of the family room, the chairs are lovely, comfortable & sturdy, then everything is really easy to clean. The wood is gorgeous & the craftsmanship is extramodest. The table & chairs are entirely pieces of furniture that I will always have. I expect to someday hand the set down to one of my kids.
