I have to admit, since I started working at my current job I’ve wondered how one of my co-workers had such an high-priced lifestyle. He is constantly talking about going on these wild inexpensive trips with all of his buddies. He has an severely costly vehicle plus shows it off properly. And he has constantly trying to pay for everybody to go out on the neighborhood for large events. It’s been a mystery to me, because I know that my fantastic friend and I don’t get paid all that well. I’ve been pretty curious how he was managing to have all of these resources making the same salary I was. Well I found out accidentally a few weeks ago. I went into the office late at evening because I had forgotten some crucial paperwork on my desk. When I open the door, I flipped on the lights plus was shocked to find my co-workers sleeping on the floor on a pile of sleeping bags. He had the air conditioning cranked up to level 11 in the office plus had brought in a nice box fan to add some extra ventilation to his face. He sat up abruptly, plus started muttering something about needing to crash there for the evening. The next week, I found out that in fact, he stayed in the office most evenings. He used our company air conditioner throughout the summer time to stay cool. Rather than paying for his own air conditioner at cabin or ponying up the money for high energy bills, he was saving a buck using our office AC. I guess his lifestyle wasn’t expensive enough to afford HVAC.
