I have to admit, since I started working at my new task I have wondered how one of my co-workers had such an pricey lifestyle.
She is consistently talking about going on these wild inpricey trips with all of her buddies.
She has an severely pricey car and shows it off respectfully. And he’s consistently trying to pay for everybody to go out on the neighborhood for giant events. It’s been a mystery to me, because I know that my friend and I do not get paid all that well. I have been pretty curious how she was managing to have all of these resources making the same salary I was. Well I found out accidentally a few weeks ago. I went into the office late at night because I had forgotten some crucial paperwork on my desk. When I open the door, I flipped on the lights and was shocked to find my co-workers sleeping on the floor on a pile of sleeping bags. She had the a/c cranked up to level 11 in the office and had brought in a nice box fan to add some extra ventilation to her face. She sat up abruptly, and started muttering something about needing to crash there for the night. The next week, I found out that in fact, she stayed in the office most mornings. She used our corporation a/c throughout the summer time to stay cool. Rather than paying for her own a/c at apartment or ponying up the currency for high energy bills, she was saving a buck using our office AC. I believe her lifestyle wasn’t luxurious enough to afford Heating and Air Conditioning.
