I just got back from the beach for my 45 minute morning routine only to find that a bunch of volleyball nets were up and people were playing.
So now, three hours later, I am home to work on my writing while they are all out there playing and having fun.
It is not easy to be working while all of your friends are in the sand having fun, but work is work and it has to be done. I need to stay disciplined and get this writing done each day or I fall behind and things get ugly. Heating and cooling equipment repairs is what I do during the week for a few hours, but the heating corp is closed for the next two weeks so all I have to do is this writing work. I will write for one hour and then take off again to the beach for the rest of the day. It will still be early and heating up from the sun, so I will have many more hours of playtime out there before the sun goes down. I am also going to buy a drum later today and play it at sunset for my buddies. The local business is selling it for $130 and I just got some extra work each month, so why not splurge a bit and get myself another toy for the band. This drum is smaller than the one I have now and it should be less intrusive to the locals in their homes when I am playing on the beach.
