I have to admit, I am the type of lady who puts a lot of care and attention into my inanimate objects. In particular, I am a bit too obsessed with my indoor plants and garden. I know that a lot of people have proudly proclaimed that they are planned moms these afternoons… But I think I’m the greatest plant mama of them all. I actually love having a apartment filled with live orangeery; For the past various years I have been feeling every nook and cranny in my residence with adorable little plants that make me feel like the arena is so alive. The problem is, for half of the year the plants really struggle to be alive. Because I live in such a difficult climate I can rarely ever utilize fresh air ventilation in my house. I have no choice but to rely on my central heating, cooling, and air quality control system for at least half of the year. If you are official with A/C systems and forced air boilers then you know how dry and uncomfortable these air Handling systems will make your volume of indoor air. The dry air does not particularly bother me… But I know it’s not the best for my plants. A few weeks ago I decided to go ahead and buy myself a humidification system so I could pump some airborne moisture back into my house, however since I have installed the dehumidifier I’m cheerful to report that my apartment feels more balanced and the indoor air quality feels healthier. I think it’s simple to see that my plants appreciate the humidity, too, based on how they are thriving.
