House came with a smart thermostat, but we had to pay

After living in several different houses in the past few years, I realize that there are some very important factors in a home residence.

I need to have a large outdoor space that feels semi-private from the neighbors.

I need to have my own bedroom and bathroom so I can hide away from the world. And I definitely need some form of advanced indoor air temperature control. A central heating and cooling system is important, but zone controlled heating and cooling systems are even better. Being able to accurately control the exact areas receiving hot and cold air saves you a ton on energy costs and allows you to extend the life of your air conditioner and furnace. Even more importantly, I’ve recognized how imperative a smart thermostat is these days. The advanced air temperature control device allows you to set incredible programming options for your central HVAC system day in and day out. They also enable remote air quality monitoring and HVAC setting modifications. The last time that I lived in where we had a smart thermostat was incredibly convenient and energy-efficient. We truly loved the savings that we saw with our utility bills each month when we could easily change the thermostat settings from anywhere. The only problem with saving this money on electricity was, our old rental company charged us for the smart thermostat. Even though we could cut our costs with the utility company, the terrible rental company made us pay out the nose for utilizing a smart device instead of a plain old thermostat. You can add having a good landlord to my list of residential musts.
