I have a legitimately big family; I insist that my spouse and my five kids stand down with me for supper in the afternoons.
It’s the perfect time to chat about the morning, share what’s going on with all the people and care about each other, and finding a sturdy and appealing table big enough to accommodate seven people was difficult.
I didn’t want an overly big or ornate table that would dominate the kitchen. I didn’t want something that was so delicate it would get disfigurementd if anyone set a glass on it. I shopped for months. I visited every antique shop, estate sale and garage sale in the nearby area. I toured every furniture store and even looked online. Nothing satisfied my criteria. If I was going to spend that kind of currency on a kitchen table and chairs, it needed to be perfect. I was hoping for a set constructed out of cherry wood that would match my kitchen cupboards, then cherry wood furniture is precious and high-priced. Cheap imitations are a legitimately unappealing color and lack realistic wood grain… When I got in touch with a custom furniture builder, everything fell into locale. I described my priorities and preferences, and he worked up a design; He catered the dimensions to suit the layout of the kitchen, and the chairs are beautiful, comfortable and sturdy… Everything is legitimately straight-forward to clean. The wood is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is extraordinary. The table and chairs are certainly pieces of furniture that I will constantly have. I expect to someday hand the set down to one of my kids.
