Credit card supplier judges my energy usage each month

When the outdoor air temperature starts to climb around here, it doesn’t matter how much my energy bill is going to cost.

everytime I sign into my junk email account I feel like I am hammered over the head with my credit score. There are so many unique companies monitoring my credit journey that I have become overloaded with all the jargon. I understand how it can be useful for numerous credit cards and credit reporting agencies to monitor your spending and make recommendations..! But I am burned out on all of their privacy over-steps. For instance, yeahterday I acquired an email from my credit card supplier chiding me for my evidently high energy bill. The credit card supplier has developed a monitoring system that analyzes your quarterly spending, including your utility bills and apartment expenses. From there, they make recommendations to reduce your spending and increase your comfort. I am glad to know that they’ve got my back, but I am not thrilled that they are shaming me for using my central heating and cooling system. I am well aware that my energy bill was too high last month, and I don’t need to be guilted over my indoor air quality preferences. When the outdoor air temperature starts to climb around here, it doesn’t matter how much my energy bill is going to cost. I am going to use my central cooling system so I am comfortable all afternoon and can sleep in cool, fresh air at night. I am sure there is a more cost-effective way to operate my cooling system or a more energy efficient A/C unit I could invest in. I will get around to the routine maintenance appointment with a professional heating and cooling inspector, with or without harassing emails from my credit card. No matter how high my utility bills climb, I don’t know it’s up to Capital One to make Heating, Ventilation plus A/C decisions for my household.
