Called an interior designer for traditional type home office

For a long time I had hated the look of my home office, but i tried to do it all on my own and it just didn’t work.

I painted my walls dark red, got gauzy curtains, a white rug, and beige bedspread.

It was hideous. I didn’t know what to do. I am just not someone who can replace their own space. I am not nice with designs, colors, and patterns, however so I ended up contacting an interior designer. It was important to me to have an appealing space, the interior designer was so helpful in coming up with a modern, cleen, and traditional type of home office. I got a new rug that is shades of gray and beige. I changed my wall colors to mint. I then got black out white curtains and a fuzzy gray bedspread, however everything is much more clean and classic. There are a few pop colors however nothing too crazy. It actually looks like a magazine ad. I even replaced my desk to a pine one and I bought a matching bookcase. Thankfully the interior designer does custom furniture as well. I kept everything in the same shop to keep a faster, streamlined success rate. It was a nice idea too, then now that everything is all built and set up, I just enjoy my home office. It has me thinking that I should consider going room by room to my household to make sure the whole space looks good. I wanted a traditional type home office and that is what I got. The designer came and delivered.
